10 Self Care Morning Routines For Busy Moms

10 self care morning routines for busy moms

Self-care is very important. It is taking care of your mind, body, and soul.

Self-care does not have to be expensive. It doesn't matter if it is the simplest act or the greatest thing that you can do for yourself.

It is knowing your worth and doing things that lift your spirit. It makes you happy, makes you calm, and restores your energy.

Self-care routines are best performed in the morning so you'll have the right attitude to slay your day!

We all want a better morning. And the best way to have it is to take care of our mental, emotional, and physical health first thing in the morning.

You will love these 6 planners every mom needs to bring peace, organization, and more time in a day!

So, how do busy moms find time for self-care?

Make it a habit to do simple self-care routines before your kids wake up. You can use that quiet time to reflect, say your affirmations, and do something that makes you feel good about yourself.

Can I ask for your help?
I need this post to show up on Pinterest. You can help me by saving the pin below on Pinterest. Thank you so much!

Try these 10 simple self-care routines that you can do to have better mornings.

1.  Wake up 30 minutes earlier
Getting up while my two-year-old daughter is still asleep gives me the quiet time that I want for myself.

An extra 30 minutes for some routines that are important for my well-being.

This also gives me enough time to check my daily to-slay list planner.

2. Disconnect from your phone
I avoid checking emails and social media very early in the morning. Emails and friends' social media posts on my news feed can take away that few minutes of my quiet time.

3. Pray and give thanks to God
My day should start with a short prayer. Acknowledging God and asking him for his guidance.

Praying is a privilege that we all have. We are all going through tough situations; know that you are not alone. Pray all your worries to God and trust him.

Trusting God's Plan is a book for women who believe in God but who sometimes struggle with worry, fear, and uncertainty.

4. Make the bed and de-clutter for 5 minutes
It is just a bed; it will be crumbled again anyway. But for me after a long tiring day, I would want to take a rest and sleep in a made bed.

5. Legs up the wall
I just read an article about the benefits of throwing your legs up the wall. It is a yoga position that has a calming effect on the nervous system. It also helps to quiet your mind.

6. Mantra for the day
I have a different mantra for each day depending on what I have planned for that day. Having a mantra helps me achieve my daily goals and stay motivated.

7. Gratitude Log
My gratitude log has two purposes. I use this for the things I am grateful for and for the things I have accomplished for the day.

I know that accomplishments should not be written down in the gratitude log. But there were times that I felt I was not being productive as planned, so to keep myself sane I needed a reminder that I did great that day.

8. To-slay list
In order for me to ensure that everything will be taken care of, I need my to-slay list Planner I would rain check what needs to be done. What time things should be done and who should do it.

9. Listening to Music or Podcast

I really love listening to music while doing some chores or routines in the morning.

Another option is listening to a business or mom’s podcast. This is a hobby that everyone should try. It will change your mindset for the better.

10. Coffee
Strong coffee is heaven for me. I can knock out the day when I am boosted with caffeine. Go and check out these beautiful coffee mugs here.
